ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Delivery to and from job sites, customers, suppliers; pull materials for vehicle restock and placement of received items into warehouse inventory; verify counts and prices on shipments as well as update pricing as items are placed in inventory; maintenance of cyclical inventory counting, bins, prices, and inventory lists; maintain warehouse, vehicles, tools, equipment and grounds; assist with counter and phone sales; assist in product and material research for technicians including determining price and availability of products; assist technicians on job sites in any way needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to operate commercial vehicles while towing trailers at times. Must be able to talk and/or listen both on the phone or radio, and/or face-to-face. Must have good communication skills to interact with customers and coworkers. Must be able to operate miscellaneous power tools and other tools of the trade. Requires strong mechanical skills and attention to detail. Must maintain neat appearance (company uniforms) and good hygiene. Must be able to work on several projects at once and be able to handle frequent interruptions, either from coworkers, customers, the telephone or radios.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must have at least high school degree or G.E.D. certificate.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must speak English well enough to take instructions from Supervisor and CSR’s and to effectively communicate with customers and office on a regular basis as well as read and supplier invoices, technician work orders, and other written instructions. Must be able to take and understand instructions both verbally and/or in writing.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must be able to successfully complete mathematical aptitude evaluation.
REASONING ABILITY
Must be capable of applying sound business judgment to all decisions.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a current valid operator’s license with good driving record.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position will require working indoors and outdoors in various climate conditions ranging from very cold with rain to very hot and humid. This includes attics, crawl spaces, and confined locations. The employee may be called upon to be in customer or service production sites on an as need to basis. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
The work is primarily performed at company premises, which are to be considered to be non-smoking areas along with customer job sites and company vehicles. May occasionally be required to work on customer job sites. There may be possible exposure to dust, fumes, chemicals, moderate to high noise levels and/or moving mechanical parts.
Typical workweek is eight (8) to ten (10) hour workdays five (5) days per week with regular weekend work, as well as early and/or late weekday meetings with customers, vendors and staff personnel as needed.
This position deals with aggressive personalities in a highly competitive industry and will be stressful.
